< Click for Axis and Allies Europe PBEM specific game info.
The system is all web based (rolls, moves, etc), meaning the only real need for email is if you and your opponent are sending map saves back and forth.
Here's an EXAMPLE of a pbem match log from a real game.
Getting Match Number click "Post New Game" link and fill out form that follows.
Game Rules enter game rules you want, specify a particular opponent
if you want or the game will beto anyone.
Game Type
PERIODIC - your opponent has 2 days (48 hours) or an extension if mutually agreed to complete
his country's turn after you've completed your's and visa versa (like pbem play). If your opponent hasn't completed their turn within the time AND a battle has started (die rolled) you may post an
awol win by posting so in the awol section of the forum. This is done by FIRST posting your username vs. their username as the subject, why in the message field, and a link (url) to the pbem match log in the message field.
Then you may post the win.
SIT DOWN - game is played out within a few hours with
reschedules as needed (like cd and face to face play). This is done by use of a real-time chat or
messanger type service. All of the forms (start turn, end turn, etc) still need to be used but most of the info
can be summarized, like for combat moves, non-combat moves, territories owned, etc you can just put "see map/save".
Bidding choose none, or secret. See Bidding section below
for details.
Accepting Match click on "Declare WAR" link and fill out the form that follows.
Bidding or Picking Sides
None no bidding, the player that accepts the match picks sides.
Open person that accepts the match bids first and the bid is displayed
in the game log, then the other player can counter with a lower bid which will be displayed in the
game log, then the original bidder can counter with a lower bid, and so on. Final lowest bidder wins bid.
You should use the bid/bid placement form (just type "you win bid" in bid placement field) to let your opponent know when they've won the bid because you
won't bid lower than them.
Secret player that post the game enters their bid which isn't revealed
and the person that accepts enters their private bid. If the player that accepted the game bids the
same or lower than the game poster they win the bid, if not, the original game poster wins the bid.
Pre-Game Special Oders see Special Oders section below for detials on special orders.
Making Them Pre-game special orders, if any, should be made by using the bid/bid placement
form and putting the special orders in the bid placement field.

Miscellaneous
Shore Bombardments ships aren't on the land forum used for land and amphib rolls. Therefore, just let your opponent know a bomber is being
used as your battleship's shore bombardment roll and so on.
Correcting Errors it is your responsibility to review your opponents turn before you begin your's.
Any error that may have been made needs to be addressed immediately, not after you begin your turn.
Logistical (no dice) errors can be corrected unilaterally by the player that made it
if it relates to last game log entry, otherwise your opponent would have to agree.
Dice Rolled errors can be corrected unilaterally by the player that made it
if it relates to last game log entry, otherwise your opponent would have to agree. Errors that have no
effect on the game shall not be corrected (rolling 6 tech rolls when you only purchased 5, but didn't get
any tech with the 6 rolls anyways, no effect).
