WAR Axis & Allies Rules
- Code of Conduct: Any unreasonable cussing, threats, harassment, or other conduct by a member or alias reasonably trackable
to a member may result in suspension, deletion, or permanent deletion of one or all of the offending
party's accounts, depending on the circumstances and what may be in the best interest of the Club.
- Unless agreed otherwise, axis and allies rules are to be followed and bugs are not to be taken advantage of. *Tons of game play rules here >>> WAR Game Play Rules.
- You may not play yourself, someone using the same computer as you, and/or a person in the same household to play a club game. Also, only 2 user names are allowed within the before mentioned parameters.
3a. If a cookie has to be reset after joining suspension or deletion may result, so don't remove it. If a player to a tourney game
can't request or verify a match number due to a cookie suspension. The match still needs to be played to determine a winner (advancer), however,
the match will have no bearing on stats.
- Both players shall post the match simultaneously immediately before beginning the game. It's your
responsibility to insure your opponent does a pre-game post. If both sides don't, the game will not count for club stats, NO
EXCEPTIONS. The easiest way to confirm your opponent made a pre-game post is to check the "match log". You may need to
refresh your browser to see new additions to the log.
- If your opponent exits a game after a die rolls or isn't on time for a reschedule. You shall
wait 20 minutes for their return/arrival. If after the 20 minutes you have an active club member as a
witness that you waited the appropriate time for your opponent to return. You may declare a
victory (awol win). A 20 minute AWOL win shall be claimed by making a post in the AWOL section of the forum
relating to such, with the topic/subject being yourusername vs. theirusername, having your witness reply, and then posting the win. Or you can do the honorable act of trying to reschedule the game by making a
post in the WAR forum relating to a reschedule. In the event, you don't have a club member witness to
the 20 minute wait you must use the WAR forum to make a reschedule.
- If you post a reschedule request in the forum's Reschedule Section within 3 days following issuance of the match number and your opponent doesn't respond
by posting a reply within 2 days after your above initial reschedule post, you may post a win (AWOL win). To do this just make a post
relating to such in the AWOL section of the forum with the topic/subject being yourusername vs. theirusername, mention your post in the reschedule section, and then post your win.
- Games shall be finished and victories declared promptly within 5 days of posting the match (pre-game post), this includes reschedules. Once
a win is declared the defeated party will receive a conformation email.
- Both players mutually agree on all rules and options. The way to do this is one player picks the rules
and options and the other picks the sides. A pre-game post should follow after the before mentioned
sentence is hammered out. more details
- Both players have an affirmative duty to save the game often. a good time to save is after unit placement, but before clicking the done button to move on to collecting ipc's.(cd-rom)
- Disputes/Arbitration are to be posted in the appropriate section of the Club forum. If a reschedule is needed and no agreement can be reached on when to finish the game within the time allowed above. the game
may be submitted to arbitration immediately if a post is made in the WAR forum relating to that fact. meaning the winner, loser, or draw
will be selected by a club approved 3rd party. Matches may also be sumbitted for arbitration if a bug adversly affects game play or your opponent wishes to continue a pointless game
that they have no chance of winning.
- Member's shall keep a match log of the games they play detailing the date the game started,
date it was completed, who the opponent was, and who won. a match logs helps greatly when disputing stats.
