WAR Axis & Allies Club Arbitration/Dispute Procedures

General:
All required posts shall be made as a reply to the original dispute.

Timeliness:
All disputes shall be posted in the arbitration section within 3 days of the disputed occurence.

Notice:
The subject of the dispute shall give the opposing party reasonable notice that a dispute involving them has been posted. Therefore the subject of the initial dispute post shall be, your username VS their username, nothing more or less.

Form:
The initial dispute shall contain only relevant arguments. It shall also have a copy (cut and paste) of the battle results log entry that is in question.

Arguments:
After a dispute has been posted. The parties and stated witnesses have 5 days to post their relevant arguments. Any post(s) after 5 days are irrelevant. To expedite a decision a party may state that they "rest" their argument if the other side does also, by both posting such intent. This may have the effect of decreasing the before mentioned 5 day timeframe, therefore, moving into the decision phase in a more timely manner.

Unit Locks, Corrupted Games, or Opponent Stalling:
Include the following eight (8) items in your dispute: rules, round, current country's turn, phase, tech(s) any country has, ipc value of all units/pieces (ic's, aa guns, inf, fighters, etc) for each country, how many ipc's each country currently has in the bank, current ipc value of territory owned by each country, and any other information that you think may be important.

Witnesses:
Only the parties involved and a max of 3 stated witnesses per side shall reply to a dispute.

Arbitration Decision:
Generally, the Arbitrator will make a judgment on the dispute within 5 days after the time for arguments has expired or shorter time if both parties have rested, see above.

Appeal:
Within 3 days after the Arbitator's judgment an adversely affected party may appeal. To appeal you must send an email to the Club's top JCoS that only states the subject of your appeal (your username VS their username), so that it may easily be determined which dispute is being appealed. You shall also post a relevant argument for the appeal as a reply to the original dispute.

Communications with Arbitrator:
There shall be no communications with the Arbitrator about the arguments of a dispute outside of the dispute section of the forum. This includes emailing the Arbitrator and so on. The arbitration process is designed to be open for all to see the arguments and for the other party to have a chance to respond.

Miscellaneous:
If a decision isn't posted by Club Admin about a dispute within 5 days after the end of time for arguments to be heard in a dispute or 5 days after an appeal has been posted. You shall make a reply to the post so that it will be brought back up near the top and hopefully to Admin's attention. You shall repeat this process approximately every 3 days if necessary.
